SCHOLARSHIPS

It is difficult to balance a college schedule with your military career. You’re to be congratulated for your dedication to both college and the National Guard.

This year, plans are to grant scholarships, as determined by the Board of Directors, to Pennsylvania National Guard members who are pursuing higher education as full-time students at an accredited trade, vocational or undergraduate degree program.

Who’s eligible to apply?

• Any active member of the Pennsylvania Army or Air National Guard.

• The military rank of the applicant or their family members will NOT be a selection consideration.

• A child of a member of the PA Army or Air National Guard who either is deceased or was permanently disabled while on National Guard duty. (please provide copy of DD Form 214)

Recipient must be a member in good standing of a Pennsylvania National Guard unit during the academic term in which the grant is made. Guard members fall into one of two Categories:

Category I - Entering first year in an Institution of higher education as a full-time student.

Category II - Presently attending an institution of higher education as a full-time student.

This program is not available to Graduate Students.
