April 14, 1918, a roster of 14 personnel was officially submitted to the Office of the Chief Signal Officer and the 28th Infantry Division Pigeon Detachment was born.

HARRISBURG, Pa. – More than 300 soldiers with the Pennsylvania National Guard’s 2nd Battalion, 112th Infantry Regiment were honored during a deployment ceremony Dec. 17, 2023 at Zembo Shrine Auditorium.

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. – A routine flight on Nov. 2 was much more than that for two Pennsylvania National Guard pilots, as it encapsulated a family’s unwavering commitment to service and a shared love for aviation.

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. – For the third time in the last four years, Fort Indiantown Gap was the busiest National Guard training center in the country.

Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Horace Pysher provided the Keynote speech at the 28th Infantry Division National Shrine for the 2023 Boalsburg Memorial Event.

The 28th Infantry Division Headquarters has been commanding Task Force Spartan and are slated to return in the summer of 2023. Soldiers with Task Force Spartan and the Qatar Emiri Special Forces trained together from mid-May to early June during the Qatari’s annual Al Adheed exercise that demonstrated the interoperability of the two forces. The exercise culminated June 1 with a combined arms live fire exercise (CALFEX) at the Al Qalayel Training Area.
